Servings 12 Sliders

Ingredients

For the sliders:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices of cheese such as cheddar or American
  • Optional toppings: lettuce tomato slices, pickles, onions

For the special sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the beef into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties, slightly larger than the size of your slider buns.
  • Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • While the patties are cooking, prepare the special sauce by combining mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  • Split the slider buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or skillet, cut side down, until golden brown.
  • To assemble the sliders, spread a generous amount of special sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a cheese-topped patty on top of the sauce, followed by any desired toppings such as lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, or onions. Finally, top with the other half of the bun.
  • Serve the cheeseburger sliders hot and enjoy!
