Ingredients
  

  • 1 package 17.3 oz frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz wheel of brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans optional
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme for garnish
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 24 equal squares.
  • Press each square into a muffin cup, creating a little pastry cup.
  • Cut the brie into 24 small cubes, about 1/2 inch each.
  • Place a cube of brie in each pastry cup.
  • Top each with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  • If using, sprinkle some chopped pecans on top.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melty.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh thyme, and serve!
