Ingredients

  • 8 oz macaroni pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Optional:

  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ¼ cup chopped pickles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully browned. Drain any excess grease and return the beef to the skillet.
  • Add seasonings: Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the beef. Stir well to combine.
  • Add pasta and liquids: Pour in the beef broth and milk. Stir in the macaroni pasta. Bring the mixture to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Add cheese: Reduce the heat to low. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the pasta and stir until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce. If needed, add a splash of milk to adjust the consistency.
  • Optional add-ins: Stir in diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, or chopped pickles for extra flavor, if desired.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or additional cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
