For the Churro Dough:

- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil for frying
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Prepare the Dough:In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball of dough.Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Fry the Churros:Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot to 375°F (190°C).Pipe 4-6 inch strips of dough directly into the hot oil, using scissors or a knife to cut the dough.Fry the churros until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
