Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans (15 oz) sliced peaches in syrup or juice
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Optional toppings:

  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Add the Peaches

  • Pour the canned peaches along with part of the syrup or juice into the prepared baking dish. Stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and brown sugar.

Step 3: Add the Cake Mix

  • Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches. Do not stir.

Step 4: Add the Butter

  • Slowly drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix, covering as much of the dry mix as possible.

Step 5: Bake

  • Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling around the edges.

Step 6: Cool and Serve

  • Allow the cobbler to cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
