Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and brown sugar until smooth. Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Step 3: Stir Fry the Vegetables
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Add the garlic, ginger, and broccoli florets. Stir fry for about 3–4 minutes, or until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
Step 4: Combine and Add Sauce
Return the chicken to the pan. Pour in the prepared teriyaki sauce and the cornstarch slurry. Stir constantly as the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and broccoli, about 2–3 minutes.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Serve hot over white rice, brown rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice. Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
