Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Fresh mozzarella about 1 ball, sliced
  • 2 medium Tomatoes sliced
  • Handful Fresh basil leaves about 10-12 leaves
  • 2 Ciabatta rolls baguette, or sourdough slices
  • 1-2 tbsp Balsamic glaze optional
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil optional

Optional add-ons:

  • 2 tbsp Pesto
  • 1 small Avocado sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into even, thick slices.
  • Wash and pat dry the basil leaves.

Assemble the Sandwich:

  • Slice your bread in half lengthwise.
  • Layer the bottom half with alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella.
  • Add fresh basil leaves in between each layer.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze or olive oil for extra flavor.
