Ingredients
  

  • 2 lobster tails about 5-6 oz each
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven

  • Set your oven to broil and position the rack in the middle.

Prepare the lobster tails

  • Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of each shell lengthwise. Gently pull the meat up and rest it on top of the shell (butterfly style).

Make the garlic butter

  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Season the lobster

  • Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.

Broil the lobster tails

  • Broil for 8–10 minutes, depending on size, until the meat is opaque and slightly golden on top.

Baste and finish

  • Remove from oven and brush with remaining garlic butter. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Serve immediately

  • Serve with extra lemon wedges and your favorite side dishes.
