Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional, for a bit of heat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Meat Mixture:
    In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, fresh parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
    Add the beaten egg and breadcrumbs to the mixture.
    Mix everything together until well combined. Use your hands for the best results, but be careful not to overwork the meat mixture.
  • Shape the Kabobs:
    Take small handfuls of the meat mixture and shape them into long, oval-shaped patties around the skewers. Make sure they are firmly packed and evenly shaped.
    If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
  • Preheat the Grill:
    Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you don't have a grill, you can use a grill pan or broil them in the oven.
  • Grill the Kabobs:
    Brush the kabobs lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
    Place the kabobs on the preheated grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach at least 160°F (71°C).
  • Serve:
    Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
