Ingredients

For the Sliders:

  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • ½ pound thinly sliced deli ham
  • ½ pound thinly sliced pepperoni
  • ½ pound thinly sliced Genoa salami
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup sliced banana peppers optional
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • ½ cup sliced black olives optional
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Italian Dressing:

  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Sliders:
Slice the slider buns or dinner rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
Layer the deli ham, pepperoni, Genoa salami, and provolone cheese evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
If desired, add sliced banana peppers, black olives, shredded lettuce, and sliced red onion on top of the meat and cheese layers.
Place the top halves of the buns over the filling to create sandwiches.
  • Make the Italian Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, dried oregano, dried basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Drizzle with Dressing:
Drizzle the Italian dressing evenly over the assembled sliders, allowing it to soak into the buns and coat the filling.
  • Bake the Sliders:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  • Serve:
Remove the sliders from the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for added freshness.
Serve the Italian Sub Sliders warm, either as a main dish or as part of a party platter.
