Instructions

  • Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  • Step 2: Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Step 3: Add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Step 4: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Step 5: Add the tomato paste, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for 1 minute to develop the flavors.
  • Step 6: Add the chopped cabbage and stir until it begins to wilt, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Step 7: Pour in the beef broth and mix everything together.
  • Step 8: Cover the skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
  • Step 9: Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Step 10: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
