Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the melted coconut oil, brown sugar, maple syrup, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
