  • ¼ cup milk or non-dairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour heat-treated (see instructions below)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies about 10 cookies
  • Blue food coloring gel works best

  • Heat-Treat the Flour:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the flour evenly on a baking sheet.
    Bake for 5-7 minutes to kill any potential bacteria. Let the flour cool completely before using.
  • Prepare the Dough:
    In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • Add the Dry Ingredients:
    Gradually add the heat-treated flour and salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  • Color the Dough:
    Add a few drops of blue food coloring to the dough. Mix until the color is evenly distributed, adding more food coloring as needed to achieve your desired shade of blue.
