Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter:

  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks about 8-10 oz each, at room temperature
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

For the Shrimp:

  • 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the garlic butter. Set aside.
  • Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Brush both sides of the steaks lightly with olive oil.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  • Place the steaks and shrimp on the preheated grill. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
  • During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the steaks and shrimp generously with the garlic butter mixture, flipping once to coat both sides.
  • Remove the steaks and shrimp from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the sliced steak and shrimp.
  • Serve the Garlic Butter Grilled Steak and Shrimp hot, garnished with additional chopped parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
