For the crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened

For the filling:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Stir in the pecan halves and pour the mixture over the cooled crust.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and golden brown.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
