- 2 pounds beef sirloin steak thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers thinly sliced (choose your favorite colors)
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6-8 hoagie rolls
- 12-16 slices provolone cheese
Prepare the Ingredients:Thinly slice the beef sirloin steak, bell peppers, and onion. Mince the garlic. Season the Beef:Season the sliced beef with salt and pepper to taste. Layer the Crockpot:Place half of the sliced bell peppers and onions in the bottom of the crockpot. Add the minced garlic on top. Add the Beef:Place the seasoned beef slices on top of the bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Pour in the Sauce:In a small bowl, mix together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour the mixture over the beef in the crockpot. Cook on Low:Cover the crockpot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the beef is tender and cooked through. Assemble the Sandwiches:When the beef is ready, preheat your oven broiler. Slice the hoagie rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet. Place a generous portion of the beef, peppers, and onions on each hoagie roll. Top with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
