Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 ounces smoked salmon finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon capers finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Step 1 – Boil and Peel the Eggs

  • Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water.
  • Bring the water to a boil, then remove from heat and cover with a lid.
  • Let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes before transferring them to an ice bath.
  • Once cooled, peel the eggs carefully.

Step 2 – Make the Deviled Egg Filling

  • Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  • Place the yolks in a mixing bowl and mash them with a fork until smooth.
  • Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, capers, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper.
  • Fold in the finely chopped smoked salmon, ensuring the mixture is well combined.

Step 3 – Assemble and Garnish

  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  • Sprinkle with paprika for a touch of color.
  • Garnish with extra fresh dill and a small piece of smoked salmon on top.
  • Serve immediately or chill before serving.
